Midland Highway 10 Year Action Plan

Perth-Breadalbane Duplication

Perth to Breadalbane Duplication

The works

These works will provide a four-lane highway from Perth to link in with the existing four-lane Southern Outlet north of the Breadalbane roundabout, and a new underpass arrangement to provide safe access to the highway. There will also be an upgraded interchange including an underpass for airport traffic and provision for cyclists.

Current situation

January 2018:

Sealing works on the northern section of the highway - including the new overpass,  will be commencing on Wednesday, 24 January and extend through to the weekend.

Rectification works on the southern section of the highway are due to commence next week and be completed by early February.  There may be changes to traffic management to accommodate these works and road users are reminded to allow extra time for their journey and obey all signage.

For the safety of road workers and road users, please obey all signs, reduce speed limits as required, and follow directions.

Thank you for your continued patience while these works are delivered. Please allow extra time for your journey and be aware of temporary changes to traffic conditions.
